About Nature Felt Crafts
Hello,
I’m Eve, the hands and heart behind Nature Felt.
I’m a self-taught needle and wet felter based in Stocksbridge, South Yorkshire, creating felted work inspired by the wild places that have shaped my life.
My felting journey began around eight years ago with a single workshop—and one powerful obsession. What started as small, needle-felted gifts quickly grew into larger sculptural pieces, including a Green Man who later became the spirit of the Nature Felt logo. Along the way, I discovered wet felting, opening up new textures, forms, and possibilities that continue to influence my work today.
Nature is my greatest muse. I’ve spent much of my working life outdoors as an estate worker and ranger, and that deep connection to the land shows up in everything I make. I draw constant inspiration from woodland, landscapes, folklore, and the quiet magic found in the natural world. My pieces reflect this deep connection—each one shaped slowly, by hand, with care and attention.
Each piece is slowly shaped by hand, guided by instinct, curiosity, and a love of the natural world. I create both needle-felted and wet-felted pieces, and I’m always excited to explore new ideas through commissions.
I also love sharing my skills and passion through felting workshops, welcoming others to discover the joy, calm, and slightly addictive magic of felting with others.
